When inserting the box into the opening, leave a gap of 1 or 2 cm. The method is also suitable for installing an entrance door in an apartment, but only if the walls are thick and strong enough.

• In the apartment.

This method involves recessing the entrance panel into the opening: the doors and the edges of the walls will not be at the same level. No mounting plates are needed.

Before proceeding with installation using this method, check the thickness of your wall. It should not be less than 15 cm. Especially if we're talking about about the thick metal entrance door.

We make holes in the box itself according to the marks provided by the manufacturer. On anchor bolts we place the box and secure it in the opening. We close the heads with plugs, which are also included in the kit.

Maintain a minimum distance from the wall of 50 mm, a maximum of 150 mm, but the same around the entire perimeter!

We install the fittings on the door and then on the counter. Only after this do we install the right rack with a gap of 2 or 3 mm. After making sure that the doors move freely on their hinges, close and open just as easily, and that the fittings respond to your efforts, we attach them, like the left pillar.

Now we need a prepared spray bottle. They need to wet the gap between the wall and the box. Let the water soak in around the perimeter. This measure is necessary so that the polyurethane foam adheres better to the opening. If not included protective film, cover the walls with masking tape to protect from foam. After filling the gaps, leave to dry for 1 day.

Choose polyurethane foam with a pistol: it’s easier to work with. One standard size cylinder is enough for the door.
